Chartered Architect and founding director, Nick Lewis, started Inform in 2014. After a period operating in London, the company moved its main office to the South Coast. We remain small enough to offer all of our clients a highly professional and responsive service which is also personal and enjoyable.

Our approach to our work is founded on the concepts of integrity, professionalism, creativity and skill yet we also believe that the design process should be fun and enjoyable. We always aim to make ourselves accessible and approachable to clients, colleagues and stakeholders alike. We strive to create bespoke buildings that are thoroughly thought through, logical and practical yet original, stimulating imaginative and bathed in natural light. We believe it is important that our architecture should be creative yet as sustainable and environmentally responsive as possible and that it should be expressive of the site, contemporary society and lifestyles.

Prior to opening Inform, Nick gained a great deal of experience in private practice for several well known studios on the south coast running a great variety of projects ranging in value from £25k to £10M. Nick started Inform in order that he could build a practice in line with his own beliefs and aspirations.

Nick started working in the industry in 1998, he studied architecture at the universities of Sheffield and Portsmouth, and qualified as an architect in 2009. The later part of his training specialised in sustainable design which is a part of the job that Nick holds a particular interest in today. Nick is an ARB registered architect and has been a full member of the RIBA since his qualification. Outside of work Nick enjoys music, travel, football, squash, cycling and cricket.
